No idea what 2110 is - doesn't show on Lyngsat.

Do you have a channel 5 SD on your official Freesat receiver? I am presuming it is a HD version.

It isn't assigned an LCN on ABM.

2106 (5Star+1) is actually showing an EPG although it does not appear in the ABM C5 family in the Freesat bouquet. The Sky bouquet version of 5Star+1 is on the other (Sky) transponder.

    No - just C5 HD. It's a HD box.

The whole SD/HD issue is turning into a bit of a nightmare on terrestrial UK TV as there is pressure to release multiplex frequencies for 5G mobile etc. and the result will be a transfer from DVB-T to DVB-T2 with older SD-only TVs and boxes being made obsolete. I presume similar will start to happen on satellite transponders as MPEG-4 is more efficient. The fact that ITV 2/3/4 HD have all gone to FTA must mean that the SD services will be turned off eventually.

Replying to my own post! Apologies, 2106 (5Star+1) is in the Freesat bouquet, but down at channel number 141. It is showing an EPG, so maybe the others will start to populate and eventually have the proper service names?

I have committed the name overrides as a temporary measure. People can update ABM provider files using the function in ABM to incorporate the changes before they next run ABM.
    https://github.com/oe-alliance/AutoB...8b9ebf09953ffa

With regards to the EPG, might be an idea for someone to get a raw stream recording so the data can be interrogated by those able to.

Thanks @abu. I saw the commit email coming in so ran a provider update and ABM "scan". All C5 family are now named correctly. 5Star+1 on LCN 141 has now/next populated correctly and has a full OpenTv EPG. None of the other C5 channels in the Freesat bouquet have OpenTV EPG or broadcast stream now/next info, so I assume it's just inaction or delay on the part of the broadcaster/playout (RedBee) service.

    FWIW this:
    Code:
    https://www.tvchannellists.com/w/Additional_and_defunct_channels_on_Sky_(UK_&_Ireland)
Says it is "NickJrPAWPatrol" or "Nick Jr Paw Patrol".

Also FWIW - the OpenTV derived EPG on Freesat 141 (5Star+1) although present is wrong! It is a duplicate of Freesat 137 Blaze. I re-ran the OpenTV downloader and it's still showing data for the Blaze channel. Someone in RedBee may eventually sort this out - maybe

I did suggest another way to do this without renames and SIDs but seems to have been overlooked.

At this stage the OpenTV EPG and now/next data for Channel 5HD and Channel 5+1 on the new transponder is showing correctly. The broadcaster/playout centre is obviously doing it one step at a time. The remaining channel 5 family EPG now/next data is absent on the new transponder. Will probably come on stream in stages.

Further update. C5 (SD), CH5 HD and C5 +1 have now gone from the old transponder. The Sky bouquet in ABM is now pointing at the new transponder for these channels. The service names for these channels are now correct in the stream data as is the OpenTv EPG. My guess is that the remaining channels will move later this week - perhaps on Thursday 1st December?

They are duplicates of the originals with number titles. If you look in satfinder servicelist you will see what I mean.

Use the new version of Satfinder just committed.

I can see what you mean, but I think you may be shooting at a moving target The state of play right now is that most of the C5 family has been moved off the original Sky transponder and now have proper service names and have now/next data populated on the new Freesat / Arqiva transponder. There are only three channels left showing on the Sky transponder right now (15:15 GMT). Probably by day's end all the channels will have been moved and presumably the broadcaster will have removed the number titles from the stream. When you scan the Freesat transponder and look at the scan list, the number titles won't open - you get a "service not found (SID not found in PAT)" error. The broadcaster is obviously doing stuff "on the fly" at present. Would have thought this sort of thing would be done during night hours. Last night the Sky transponder had the entire C5 family but now here is the current state of play on the two transponders:
