    What happens?

You really need to get in contact with the writer of the plugin and report the problem. Most likely not properly Python 3 compatible.

Ahh, I did wonder as only just upgraded, many thanks for reply. Gutted not gutted as hopefully a solution is forthcoming as torrentplayer is a top draw app and works flawlessly. When attempting to install from tmp folder it crashes and or asks to reboot and says cannot install on screen. Have to remove plugin to attempt again as leaves some files despite crash..wonder if will still work in 5.4?

There is no 5.4 anymore. Ask the plugin author to fix it so it runs in modern python 3 images like OpenViX, OpenATV, OpenBH.

A post from linuxsat forum so it doesn't look like it will be updated

Its not compatible with new python 3 images.

The author has recently passed away so i don`t imagine it will get any updates.

Use OpenATV 6.4 and below or another python 2.7 image

Is this open-source code? Where is the source so it can be fixed?

    No I don't think it's open source.

I've only seen it mentioned here

If there is no source code I'm not going to look at it.
