Can you expect an image OpenVIX for the PULSe 4K and 4K Mini receivers?

Probably not until the manufacturer supplies one of these to test a build on. However there's nothing stopping you building the image yourself.

The PULSe 4K is not worth building images for until the tuner is fixed. The Octagon SF8008 is a much better choice if you need a decent fta tuner.

Bit harsh, not everyone wants or needs blindscan

The PULSe 4K has tuners that identify exactly as the tuners in the Octagon SF8008.
The PULSe 4K cannot receive transponders with a symbol rate above 45000. The Octagon SF8008 can.
The PULSe 4K cannot receive or lock small symbol rate transponders. The Octagon SF8008 can.
The PULSe 4K appears to have reduced tuner sensitivity when compared directly to the Octagon SF8008.

    Since blindscan was mentioned:
The DVB-S/S2 blindscan feature in the PULSe 4K build should be removed from the build until it can be proven to work. AB-Com has known about the broken blindscan problem for at least 6 months. I realize not everyone wants or needs blindscan, but it is foolish to have broken features included in the build.

Thanks, the only thing I had seen complaints about was blindscan, so nice to get the other info.

The PULSe 4K can be a great fta receiver! So far usb tuners work, picture is good, overall performance is good...etc. The tuner just needs some work. Thanks for trying to get it fixed!
