My Duo 4K as been doing the same/similar thing too, it gets stuck on the Vu+ logo, so before E2 as started as far as I know. It is on PLI nightly developer builds and did it when I was using ViX on it. Even deep standby is an issue and you have to reflash to get out of it. Flash by USB or Ofgwrite does not matter.

Console log is attached. Small excerpt below

    Code:

None of your debug logs include references to [OnlineUpdateCheck] or [ImageManager].

Do you only reboot the box when attempting to update it?

My Ultimo4K is left in deep standby overnight, and I've used Imagemanager to couch flash hundreds of times without any problems.

I think it's obvious that there isn't gonna be a log when i have to hard reboot because the box doesn't reboot by itself anymore. So i don't know what's going wrong.

    Once more :

    1. after an update the box doesn't reboot, i have to hard boot.
    2. after an online flash install, same problem, i have to hard boot.
    3. after a normal reboot command, the box doesn't want to reboot automatically, again i have to hard boot.

In short : i always have to reach to the button at the back of the box to hard reboot.

There will be debug logs if you change their location to /media/hdd/logs.

Providing you have turned on debug logs and you have on hdd or usb not flash … there will logs showing activities.
Next time it stops try using filezilla to,access the current log and copy,it to a PC, so,it can be looked at.

References in the logs to multibooting, which the ultimo4k doesn't have. Are you running a plugin to do this?

EDIT: my Ultimo4k also has similar references.

    Code:

You have a Motorised dish and one of the logs shows a tuning failure at the end of the log ……. So maybe hanging on the motorised dish
How are your tuners setup… can you post pictures? … and perhaps describe your sat setup

Strangely, as of yesterday (still on 6.00.8) my receiver booted again on his own without me switching off and on again at the back. Only thing that changed is that i replaced my broken external HDD with a new one of 2 TB. Could it be that HDD then preventing from booting properly ??? But my problem got fixed finally. Thnx for all those trying to help me. Cheers guys. Updated to the latest image yesterday evening with flashing online and the receiver booted up properly afterwards, i'm a happy man.
