    New bin openvix-6.0.001.release-vuzero4k_usb

    flushed with the latest bin.
installed oscan 11702 from plugins/sofcam. replaced all config files with my working files from image openvix-5.4.016.release-vuzero4k_usb.
oscam doesn't start the emu reader:
    reader.PNG
when i manually start the reader, oscam is overriding my oscam.server file with this: emu=unknown !!!!
    oserver.jpg
so the reader has no protocol !!!!

installed both: tryied stable, unistalled. then tried emu.
no luck with either one of them. not to mention that all config files made by oscam are located in the wrong folder:
    configfiles.PNG
after that, when start the oscam this message is on the screen:
    config files.jpg

Not in the wrong folder... in a different folder.

The current folder structure means you can run different versions with different configs...

No the oscams are now created the same as OpenPli/OpenATV in that a config named after the oscam is created with example configs - this means that llike OpenPli/OpenATV you can now run from the SoftcamScript manager (menu/setup/softcamScript) . Using the ViX SoftcamManager you need to create the configs in /etc/tuxbox/config as before.
From the message, does this mean that you didn‘t flash and restore from a settings backup??

I just flashed with the new bin image without the restore settings backup as i always did.
oscam-emu started to work, but is an old version 11695.
if i replace it with the latest version 11703, is no go!

i do not think so as long as the previous image bin (openvix-5.4.016.release-vuzero4k_usb), is running fine with latest oscam version: 11703

Ouit of interest - disable softcammanager (no autostart, stop oscam) ensure your configs are in teh oscam-stable or oscam-emu folder and try running it from SoftcamScript(menu/setup/softcam script and enable the oscam
Also disable frozen check in menu options of SoftcamManager

There is no functional difference between the py2/py3 SoftcamManager or the Oscam image build … so it could be a long wait!
11703 is working fine for me on my other boxes but I am using Softcam script setup
