I've had similar problems where the partition becomes unwriteable on the SF8008 and the only solution is to flash the recovery image and start again.

I have no clue from the crash log - why you are getting that assert error.

As the box is now used for IPTV, are the tuner(s) enabled or disabled??
If not - disable.

Yes,it does seem OK now, thanks. Upgraded it to 6.0.002.

Hi Huevos, as I said I am no expert, but I suspected someone in the know would tell me this has been around for years. On a positive note at least the people behind XE now know that XE3.0.9 will not work with Vix 6 and they will need to modify it for future builds.....Spevs

Hi All, some great news "Xtream Editor" has been modified to work on Python 3, I installed 3.1.1 last night via Putty and it runs fine, also previous settings from 5.0.16 have all come across during the upgrade to 6.0.001................
