    As you are already on 5.4.12 and your other thread was about Kodi, I suspect it is the same issue as in these threads:

    Issue this command and post back what results you get.

    opkg update && opkg list-upgradable

    I never used Kodi, and never posted about Kodi.
    You may be mistaken me with others....

    Oops, sorry.

    Nonetheless, if you are on the latest image 5.4 12 (at time of writing) and you are still seeing the update icon, the only way to find out what the update is by command line.

    So, that flashing icon is for update ?
