    E ARC soundbar issue

    I have a Hitachi sound bar attached to my Gigablue Quad 4k via E ARC and when there is music playing there seems to be a slight second judder of the sound which seems to happen very randomly, seems to happen mainly when there is music playing rather than dialogue. I have tried the following:-
    1. Changed the cable from the sound bar to the tv E ARC port
    2. Changed the cable from the Giga to to the TV
    3. Tried a full clean restore and its still happening
    4. Tried the sound bar with it attached using the freeview played built into the tv and there is NO sound issues at all

    I have also tried the apps such as Disney +, Netflicks etc built into the TV and all seem fine and no issues

    Therefore can only mean there is an issue with the hardware of or the software on my STB


    TV is a LG nano55916 if that helps

    Hi,
    which soundbar do you have? (E-)ARC is normally not meant for connection with an STB.

    Hi the sound bar is connected directly to the tv E-Arc port (HDMI3) and the STB is connected to the TV HDMI port (HDMI2), then iam using the HDMI CEC to control the sound bar is this the correct way to connect ??
