Easier to visit OpeATV forum, there will be a guide there on how to flat the image on your box

Use Image Manager. You can download and flash OpenATV.

    Blue, Vix, Image Manager
    Yellow to download
    Once downloaded, blue to flash

What gets to 96% - the download or the flashing process? You can also download the image yourself from the openatv website and ftp it to the "imagebackups" folder in your hard drive. Also do you have enough free space?

Ok I don’t have enough space, i have a 16GB usb stick in the back but can’t download to it? It’s the download that fails due to lack of space

If you have an internal hard drive then there is no need for a usb stick. In the image manager press menu and you should see the backup location. Normally it is set to /media/hdd

If your hard drive is full then delete some stuff.

No need to apologize - we all have to start somewhere. Bring up the file list of your recordings. Highlight the item you wish to delete with the up/down buttons. Press the red button to delete. When finished you might want to empty your recycle bin - highlight "deleted items" and press the red button. It will ask you to confirm. It will take a few minutes to completely free up the disk space.

... the file list of your recordings will also show how much space is left on the disc.

I don’t have any recordings, I can’t find any files. When i go to image manager the space i have is 196MB. When i press the pvr button and then location the internal flash has 3240MB 85% free space. I don’t know how to change the download location to somewhere with more space.?
