Menubutton in 5.4

Just flashed my Ultimo 4K with 5.4 001 image. It seems you can not return from menus at any point with menubutton. Instead you have to use exitbutton.

I’ve never used Menu button to exit, as to me the Exit button is meant for this is it not.

It depends at what point of menustructure you are. A bit frustrating to press exitbutton several times if you can use menubutton instead.

I’ve never used Menu button to exit, as to me the Exit button is meant for this is it not.

As I recall historically there were several places where Menu got you out of all menus, even if you were n (n>1) levels deep.
It was a quick, "back to viewing" key.

Maybe you Andy Hazza have to learn this from OpenPLi image 7.3.

I only use ViX. I’ve tried all the other images and they suck compared with the nice polished ViX image.

Not so nice polished if you have to use exit button several times instead of more clever menubutton use.

Nah exit button makes sense to me. Like I’ve said b4 this is what I’ve used all the time, never even thought about using the menu button to exit. So to me using the exit button is the norm to me. On the other hand if you’ve used the menu button to exit previously and now it doesn’t work thats another thing....

Ok, I'll counter this by saying I found the menu button annoying when I pressed it and the menus just disappeared, when that was not what I intended.
