Works ok for me with timezone London.
I'll take a look

I can't reproduce the problem. I've set my timezone to Helsinki and the displayed time changes from 14:30 to 16:30. Pressing primetime takes me to 20:00 exactly as stored in the settings. Was it fine in 027? Perhaps you could post your settings file, that might give me some clues.
Was ok with 027

Maybe I should have posted what settings I have on the same box....
Code:config.epgselection.graph_primetimehour=18 config.epgselection.graph_primetimemins=0 config.epgselection.grid.primetime=18:0 config.epgselection.infobar.primetime=20:00 config.epgselection.infobar_primetimehour=20 config.epgselection.infobar_primetimemins=0
I tested it by stopping enigma and writing these:
config.epgselection.graph_infowidth=50
config.epgselection.graph_itemsperpage=8
config.epgselection.graph_piconwidth=100
config.epgselection.graph_primetimehour=21
config.epgselection.graph_primetimemins=0
config.epgselection.graph_roundto=60
config.epgselection.graph_servfs=5
config.epgselection.graph_servicewidth=250
config.epgselection.graph_timelinefs=5
config.epgselection.graph_type_mode=text
config.epgselection.grid.browse_mode=firstservice
config.epgselection.grid.eventfs=5
config.epgselection.grid.infowidth=50
config.epgselection.grid.itemsperpage=8
config.epgselection.grid.piconwidth=100
config.epgselection.grid.primetime=21:0
And then starting enigma.
Now it`s ok.
I wonder if this is an upgrade problem. Had you changed the primetime setting at all since upgrading from 027? Also, now that you've changes the settings file, does the primetime display as 21:00 in the EPG settings?
Hi,
very late reaction, but maybe helpful for a solution.
I'm talking about the Grid EPG (Graphics) and am currently using Release 5.3.033, with skin Magic FHD.
I mostly watch Astra 19.2 (German) channels. Their primetime is 20:15 hr., but as I live in Ireland (- 1 hr), I always had that as 19:15 hr.
If I then pressed 9, the 19:15 hr Primetime starting time would be visible at the left, so I could see programming for the rest of the evening (Time-scale set to 300 min), which I have always seen as the logical behaviour of the Primetime setting.
From, I think, release 028 onwards (when primetime changed from 2 separate settings - primetime-hour and primetime-minute - to 1 setting Primetime), when I then pressed 9 in the EPG, it showed 19:15 in the middle of the screen, and the starting time on the left is actually 2,5 hours earlier (so 16:30 hr).
My workaround is to set Primetime to 21:45 hr, and that results in showing me what I had before, so 19:15 hr is the starting time on the left.
The same behaviour happens when changing back to the default skin VIX-Night-HD.
The time difference (in my case the 2,5 hours) is linked to the chosen Time-scale. I verified this when changing it from my 300 minutes down to 180 minutes. Without changing my Primetime (so still 21:45 hr) the starting time on the left now is 20:15 hr, so half of the chosen Time-scale.
I hope this info can help restoring "decent" behaviour to the Primetime setting again :-)
Good luck,
Hans

You may have hit the nail on the head. Perhaps tappari and I were talking at cross purposes. So what we want is to set the left hand edge of the grid to the primetime setting, and select the cell at that time too.

@simonc
Do we pick this into the Dev branch
@LbCwby
The fix is in the EPG test files
LbCwby (01-07-20)
Yes, if it picks neatly into Dev, you could do that.
