    Recording black screen

Playback from a recording that is still recording shows a black screen when fast forwarding and then clicking play

Sadly has started doing it again. Recording hd channel and then playing it back when it is still recording. Fast forward speed is very fast and then black screen.

Is it an internal hdd or externally powered hdd and when fast forward by buttons 3 , 6 , 9 what happens.
It might depend on recording how long as it is recording say 15 mins and fast forward is 17 mins and not recorded yet?
