    won't load past Vu+ screen

been using my box for years with no issues.
came back home to find bouquet information had gone, and i could not access the menu, only could select channel. It was asking for a pincode for the remote if i pressed menu.
So i tried to flash it, didn't work. Tried different usb sticks. same result.
So i took the hdd out, put it in PC, wiped it, put back in, tried to flash - same result.
Unplugged hdd, tried to flash again - same result.

i switch it on, it says 'Starting...', and it just stays on 'Vu+ your smart linux tv player' loading sreen.

what on earth do i do?

Looks like someone has hacked into your receiver. You will need to try and do a fresh install of the latest ViX image via the usb method.

How do you know it’s genuine? Also disconnect from the internet to be on the safe side, especially if you have been hacked.

Afraid not - you need to get it to accept a usb flash.

    Oops.
The plugin will only work if receiver is working.

    Sorry for the incorrect post.
