    ipk install error

    hi guys,

    trying to install Xtream iptv plugin and getting error,

    any idea whats wrong?

    How where you trying to install it as also failed with telnet and putty but succeeded with dcc and seen then in extension to load to box.
    i am not savvy in using those programs and need to learn more.

    as i'm on Mac, copied idk using iDreamX but can't install it ...

    sometimes macs cannot do what a windows one can,i cant answer that as used neither.

    put file with ftp in var/volatile/tmp . Then open menu - vix and install local file.This should do the work.If not the file is bad.

    Maybe you also need to restart interface or reboot
    VU+ DUO2 quad tuner with HDD 1 TB + Latest Openvix and VU+ DUO2 FB tuner + Octagon SF8008 FB tuner

    I also tried usb method and it failed syntax error it said so bogus file??
    not used ftp to send files to temp is that all ipk files or/and other stuff?

    should work from usb also.Copy file to stick , insert in box and you should have a popup installing file.Be sure you copy the IPK file and not a zip.

    I rechecked link and no mention of zip or rar just a mips ipk which was seen in box but had an error and not loaded.
    other way worked with a different ipk file,which failed on telnet and putty and dcc earlier.
