Mutant hd51 sd channels not filling screen

Hey guys just flashed latest vix image on mutant hd 51, I have resolution on box set to 2160p on sd channels I get a black line down right hand side of screen sometimes both left and right on some channels. Hd channels are fine. This does go away if I select 1080p. Is this just the way it is or can I fix this. I tried setting screen up in user settings on box but it doesn't need adjusting.

Have you set the TV to full-scan on all resolutions?

ISTR that on my Sony (1080p) I had to set it for each one, although it might have been for each inputs...perhaps worth a check, though.

Can you attach a screen grab of your a/v settings please. Use OpenWebIf for nice clean images.

Try 4.3 content as Pilar box.
    Try 16.9 content as letterbox.
Also I would change back to 1080p on the box because If your Sony tv is upscaling the picture you don’t need the box to do it as well.

Tried both those settings for 4:3 and 16:9 and no change. Setting mutant to 1080p works. Is my tv up scaling to 4k as resolution shown on tv is 1080p when I change channels. If I play any 4k stuff on mutant will this not be downscaled to 1080p as resolution setting is 1080p?

I currently have my HD51 set as perAshley69 suggests but with output 2160 and taking for example BBC1SD/HD they both fill screen.
So is it any particular SD service that gives the issue or all??

All sd channels have the problem but some have equal black marks down each side say half inch either side. Others have unequal black marks down sides. I may try auto resolution setting again.

I think it may be the tv as I have tried a different image on the mutant and it is still doing it. Switching back to 1080 fixes it. Tried all settings on tv still no joy.

I believe so, although you could also try switching on AutoResolution (installing the plugin for additional options, if necessary).
