    dead ethernet port

    Seem to have a problem with my Ethernet port on my sf4008 it looks like its dead no green or red flashing lights from the port tried a few different ethernet cables but Vix or Openatv 6 will pickup a ip address

    im stuck at what else to try before contacting wos
    All PM,s asking about c/s on cable will be ignored and reported to forum staff!

    Would be interesting to see the logs on powerup.
    Apart from a debug log there are a couple of others just not able to get to any of the receivers at the moment to look ...except they are in flash.

    working again this morning looks like its a intermittent problem which is more of a pain to monitor

    Always possible, but would have thought that this type of error would have been reported elsewhere.

    Have you tried switching to a different port on your router
    just to rule it out
