No you can store the files on your phone and then transfer them directly to your box or any box you are on the same network with.

It does exactly the same as a laptop computer just no ability to edit config files.

I explained exactly how to do it in my previous post?? I've never used it before and learnt within 5 mins of playing with it. Just follow the step by step guide I sent above and you can't go really wrong

steevieboy, thanks for your help, i have been at this all day and still can't work it out (i found a video) and still no luck. I can't figure what is uplink or downlink etc, i have deleted all the lines via filezilla and DCC, reinserted all the lines, deleted oscam. cccam 2.30, mgcamd and ncam completely deleted everything and nearly went back to factory reset and reinserted plugins and every line 2 or 3 time today with no problems, but still can't this app to work. I am giving this one up. (but i may try again tomorrow!

Try es file explorer on Android to ftp it's similar to andftp but easier to navigate.

You can also edit files directly on the box

    1. Open Andftp and the initial screen will look like this but without the 2 folders.
    2. To create these folders (these are my 2 VU+ boxes)
    3. Click the + symbol at the top of the screen
    4. This will then take you to this screen:

    2.jpg

    5. Hostname = YOUR IP ADDRESS i.e 192.168.1.??
    6. Port = 21
    7. Username = root
    8. Password = Leave Blank
    9. To select the local directory (location on your phone where you want to upload files from) click either the Internal (phone storage) or External (SD Card) and then browse to the correct folder
    10. Then click save
    11. This will have now created the FTP folder as seen in screenshot 1
    12. So click this folder this will now show the folders and files located on your box
    13. Now click the folder you want to send the file(s) to until you locate the final place you want it to be placed

    3 Box.jpg

I've chosen the ETC folder (shown below) this is the final place the file i ftp will go

    Box Upload.jpg

    14. Now click the mobile phone symbol at the top of the screen.

    4 Phone.jpg

    15. This will then show the files/folders located on your phone, do the same as the previous step and locate the file you want to ftp. This time when you select it a green tick will be placed on the file.
    16. Now click the Up arrow (Next to the cloud at the top of the screen)
    17. This will then FTP the file to the folder in step 13

Hope this helps, if it doesn’t then you need to continue to use Filezilla

So you know how to use the Andftp app now then? Have you definitely sent the cccam to the correct location on your box?

    CCcam.cfg file into the /var/etc

Send it via Andftp and see if it works, if it doesn't straight away check with Filezilla to confirm it has been uploaded correctly if it has then double check the cccam.cfg is correct.

If its correct then upload the same cccam.cfg file using Filezilla to see if it works then, if it does work using Filezilla then.................I've got no idea

    Android FTP app

Cccam config goes into to /ETC not /ETC/keys

Your not putting the config file in the correct place.

    filezilla says "etc/usr/keys/cccam.cfg"
    DCC says "etc/keys/cccam.cfg"
    DCC says "usr/keys/cccam.cfg"
    DCC says "var/usr/keys"
Dream Explorer says both "etc/keys/cccam.cfg and "usr/keys/cccam.cfg
