    What is multiboot?

    I have an HD51 & noticed in a post something about multiboot , i googled it but never really found anything, also is there any tutorials for using recording as when i was recording a cable channel i couldn't watch any other cable channel at the same time

    multiboot basically means, that you can install several images and select at boot time which one you want to boot.

    Multiboot is not available on OpenViX, only OpenATV .... and unless it has changed the MultiBoot plugin (different from HD51 Multiboot) doesn't work because the HD51 will not recognise the USB used by Multiboot plugin.
    In OpenATV you are able to flash to any of the 4 disk partitions on the HD51 EMMC with an image stored on USB, HDD or online using their software management utilities, and by the normal restart routine choose the image to boot.
    It also allows you to couch flash the HD51.

    Very simple and very effective.
