A/V jack output

I have a on old Hd ready Phillips flat panel TV. It doesn't have a HDMI port on it but instead it has a Dvi connection for the Hd input.

I use an HDMI to Dvi adapter so I can connect a HDMI lead to the TV but it doesn't transfer the sound.

On my vu duo I use the red/white audio out and connect it to the audio in jack on the TV.

It works fine that way. I get HD and working sound.

I've just sold my duo and was considering the Os mini to replace it

I'm just concerned that il be able to get the sound from the A/V jack that's supplied with the box.

Will it still output sound from the jack when it's in HDmi mode.

Cam anyone test it for me. Would be much appreciated

i would be very surprised if it did not as used many receivers with hdmi cable to tv and jack to an onkyo amp.

Bit of a bummer. Mini arrived today. Plugged in receiver and after some crackling from the PSu failed to power on. Contacted WOS who have arranged for me to return.

Tried the PSU from my mutant and if I tap the roof of the box above the PSu jack then it occasionally powers on.

Great customer service from WOS. Very quickly dealt with.
