Receiver crashes every morning

For some reason my Edision OS Mega receiver crashes every morning on ABM scan, im using sat and cable custom mix updater plugin here.

My current set up is as follows:
6.30am: Box wakeup
6.35am: Restart GUI
6.40am:ABM scan
6.45am:CrossEPG download

Im running vix image 4.2.029, log from this morning crash attached for help

This is nothing to do with ABM. You need to take it up with the author of the updater plugin.

Yes, I have LAN connection to my router which is on 24/7

Your the first to have this issue but it does look like a connection issue when the box is booting. Can you uninstall the plugin and try the script method?

I'll probably add try and exept to the next release.

Do you have the same issue when you try and run ABM and crossepg manually? It might not be locking on to the signal in which case could be an lnb issue.

You say nothing to do with abm but he said it was crashing when scanning abm the above crash is to do with my plugin but that should happen on boot not when scanning abm.

Which lines of debug log shows him running ABM please?

The debug log doesn't but he said he was having a crash when abm scanned sorry if I miss understood the op

No need to apologise. Others use your autopdater without an issue, so may just need a tweak to deal with newly discovered/unexpected issues.

I think try and exept should work that way it will ignore it if it can't connect that worked when trying another plugin to download in python. I just need to test it

I assumed it happens during ABM scan, simply because the crash log was exactly the same time that ABM was supposed to be updating (6.40am)as per my post #1
I uninstalled the plugin yesterday and didn't experience any crash this morning.

Connect to router without internet connection. If current version crashes on that setup, you have a test bed.
