OS Mega, no Virgin / Cable channels

    Hi All

Received my new OS Mega on Monday. I'm setting it up, but I've noticed I have no Virgin or cable channels on tuner C. It's set up as a cable tuner, however when I scan there's nothing to be found. As it happens, I have someone else's cable openbox, (which doesn't work right). When I carry out a channel scan on that, it picks them all up?

Is this a fault with the tuner or do you think it could be to do with the box settings. It came with Openvix installed, which I'm not too familiar with.

Has anyone got any ideas before I contact the supplier of the box?

    Thanks in advance

You will need to enter the correct Net ID for your area.

You can do a manual cable scan without knowing your Net id on Vix

you only need to know your net id if you are using ABM

OS Mega, no Virgin / Cable channels

Have you got an F connector to coax adapter to fit the cable to the box.

Just in case your putting the f connector on to the LNB input.

It should go into the coax input for cable tuner.

They are 29p from CPC if you're close or free delivery if you spend over £5.

Yeah you can them cheaper but needed one that day and B&Q was only a few mins away.

If only I realised prior to buying from sponsor or I would have added it to my order.
