    hbbtv advise and guidence

As a new owner of the uno 4k with latest openvix, one of its key features listed is hbbtv, what does this mean and how do i use it. Will i still need to install the hbbtv plugin?
I believe freesat stb such as the humax 1100s use it for catch up by going back on the epg to view program's
Will it work in a similar way?
It would be appreciated if someone could explain simply all about hbbtv

HbbTV or Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV is not currently available in the U.K nor likely to be either.

It is mainly used for the french and German markets in Europe via 19.2 and 13.0 (also in use in Australia to some degree) so you can try it out if you have a dish facing these locations but it's of no use to you if your only viewing U.K based content via sky, freeview or freesat.
