Hi,

I have attached an example for the lcd4Linux-configuration + background file for VU+ Ultimo 4K LCD display for further use.

Folders:

- background file: /usr/share/enigma2/backgrounds/bg_13.jpg
- lcd4config: standard folder
- Picons On: /usr/share/enigma2/picon
- Cover: /tmp

beautifull but why not attach the files also ? Now it is just example and info and nothing more.

Please look an attachment. All files were attached!

If you have installed the lcd4Linux plugIn then you will need only the lcd4config-file + the background file.
The installation folders were described.

Don't use this on open images you could end up with a boot loop, open images don't currently support xmlLCDType=800x480.

I don't understand what you mean.

Why haven't you changed to 800x600 if you need?

Did you create this on Original image or VTi or Blackhole?
If yes you can not just drop the config into Vix, it will boot loop as there is no current support for xmlLCDType=800x480.
If you were to change to 800x600, then upload, everything would need rearranging, don't you think?
P.S. 800x600 is 4:3 the screen on the Ultimo4K is 5:3 (1.6667:1 A common European widescreen std.; Native Super 16 mm film)

I couldn't get it work at all on latest ViX 4.2.030, I had to remove lcd4linux 4.7-r2 and manually install 4.7-r6, then it worked perfect
