openvix update to version 4.2.0.27 caused audio narrative to be enabled by default

    Hi All,

Just to note i updated two Edision OS Mini boxes last night to openvix 4.2.0.27 and after a restart the audio narrative was enabled by default.

These were previously on 4.2.0.26 and all previous updates were fine beforehand.

    Thanks

Is there an audio button on your remote? If so press it and choose the option other than the one its currently on

Just go into the Auto Language Settings and turn the Narrative Audio off. Its not hard, you just need to look.

There is no narrative audio setting to turn off in auto language settings ?

You have to set the audio language selection 1 to your default language. Mine was English.
Then make sure "prefer ac3 track' is set to yes.
Finally 'prefer audio track stored by service" set to no.

This works fine, got the answer on another forum.

It is an audio track. To turn it on/off select/deselect NAR from the language menu.
