    Kodi video resolution on Ultimo 4k

    Hi

    I am still playing around with the Ultimo 4k and Kodi on it. When trying to change the video resolution on Kodi, only 720p is available. Is there a way to change the resolution to 1080p or even 2140p? Does it relate the the image I am running (BH while VIX is being built) or will this be updated when more staple images are released?

    Always been like that, even on 1080p boxes. Resolution switches once you start playing media iirc.

    Oh ok. So if I play a 4k movie, res will switch to 2140p automatically?

    It should do, but Kodi uses a different media player on VU+ boxes so it depends if the external player supports 4K, i haven't tested it myself on my Ultimo4K, i got tired of testing on the Solo4k because of the lack of 24hz support.
    VU+ Ultimo 4K 3TB, 1x Twin DVBS-2 FBC / 1x DVB-C FBC/ 1x Twin DVB-T2.
    VU+ Solo4k 2TB, 2xFBC-S2, 2xC/T2, 1x Sundtek .
    1m Motorised Single LNB Dish, 60cm Fixed Octo LNB Dish.

    Might be worth testing latest builds. Pretty sure this has now been fixed in drivers.
