Using a different remote on the HD51

I'm getting to grips with my new HD51 but one of the things that let it down (I feel) is the remote. I have an extra Xtrend 10K remote which I used on my wetek. Is it possible to use my Xtrends remote on the HD51?

Thanks a lot TWOL - using the Xtrend remote makes this box a lot nicer. To anyone else reading this have a look at the Xtrend 10K remote (you can get them on WOS). Its a quality unit, the layout is very pleasing for example the record fast forward / reverse buttons are in a far better location at the middle top instead of being quashed at the bottom in many other remotes including the HD51. The Xtrend remote also has the function of programming it with the basic functions of your TV

Totally agree, but having a ET8500 immediately below the hd51 kind of prevents this swap!
... but in a few months might change
