Try restoring the position setup in OSD settings to default.

Also try changing the TV's aspect ratio to 'Just scale' or 'Just Scan', if you have the option.

Ok i reset the position settings to default and it worked the mini tv in the epg etc was back to normal, so I then put the position settings back to how I have them (to fit the screen of my tv) and the problem returned, mini tv in epg etc zoomed in? As I've already said this isn't a issue in 016 this is only happening Since 018.

I found ages ago that position setup "Move Left/Right" set to 16 caused me problems, but 15 is ok.

Sounds identical to the problem I had. What Tv do you have?

You need to forget about messing with your OSD positioner and turn off/disable your overscan feature on your TV, it really is as simple as that.

I've got a Samsung 50' smart TV I presume the equivalent to 'just scan' would be screen fit on my TV? No I do not have it on screen fit it's set to 16:9 like it always has been and like it always has been using openvix, I can't see how a setting on my tv would cause this, surely it would affect the actual picture when watching something and not just the picture in graphic? again like I said my setup and settings have been fine all this time and I've only had this issue since 018 as have others on this thread so make of this what you will.

You need to use the Screen Fit option on your Samsung and forget the OSD positioner, that is a very last resort. The OSD positioner is for TV's that are ancient, so please don't tarnish your setup by having that crap when its not needed.

Maybe a driver issue, but the Screen Fit will correct everything for you, just remember to go back to default for the OSD positioner.

Only problem I have with setting my Samsung to screen fit and my Sony to full pixel is some of the picture on some sd channels gets cut off around the edges, in that I mean I get a black border around the edge of the screen and the picture doesn't fill the whole screen.

You must have Automatic Resolution enabled in AV Settings?

No it's disabled Andy? It's a very slight black border and is more noticeable on some sd channels (particularly bbc1 sd) then others, some sd channels fill the whole screen fine.

You definitely reset (defaulted) your OSD Positioner settings? I have a Panny Plasma, Sony LED and LG OLED 4K TV's and all with the Overscan feature turned off and SD & HD picture are as they should be.

Do you mean the black borders on the sides?
