BTW: WebTV was added as "nice-to-have", but it can't and never will replace serious streaming/transcoding.

Do you know of a location for a Linux download? I've not been able to find one.

EDIT: Ignore that. I was looking for a mozilla plugin, but it's changed its name (on Ubuntu/Mint)
Not sure how I missed "browser-plugin-vlc", but it's now working.

NO WEB-TV neither in OpenWebIF nor in the WEBInterface

Hi , i have this problem on a new VU+DUO2,
that NONE of it`s WEB TV players either in OpenWebIF nor in the VU+WebTV
inside the WEBInterface the TV function is not working.
    Problem:
1)the OpenWebIF VGX-WebTV-Player is endlessly looping, never showing up anything
    2)the WEBInterface -VU+WebTV-Player shows : interface undefined=> same effect
Who can please deliver a working step by step solution for a newbie
or a Link , to solve the problem?
My VU+DUO2 has the latest updates :
Receiver Marke & Modell: Vu+ DuoČ
    Chipsatz: Broadcom 7424
Hauptspeicher: 1049692 kB frei / 1240516 kB insgesamt
    Receiver-Laufzeit: 1d 4:52
    Software
    OE-System: openvuplus 3.0
    Firmware-Version: VTi 11.0.2 (2017-06-21-vti-master (d182006))
    Kernel / Treiber: 3.13.5 / 3.13.5-20170522.r0
    Who can help please ?
    Best regards

openvuplus 3.0 is in fact an ancient OE 1.6 with some updates.
It has neither current OWIF code nor current other code.

Try any decently updated distro like OpenATV (6.0 or 6.1) or - as we are in the OpenViX forum - OpenViX 5.x

As indicated by space rat you appear to be using "OE-System: openvuplus 3.0" as your operating system
This support forum is for the Open Vix image

You could try the support forum for open vuplus or change the image you are using to openvix which can be downloaded here
    http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php/d...ages/vu-duo-2/

As it is like asking on a Windows forum how to fix your Mac
    Hope this helps
