    ET8500 and Kodi Plugin

I have had my ET8500 a couple of months now and running v4.2.013 and although it has been a steep learning curve I think I am beginning to understand what I am doing now.

I have been having a mooch around all the menus and I see that there is a Kodi Plugin kodidirect.
I have a couple of ‘kodi boxes’ around the house but it would be useful to have Kodi on my ET8500 as my setup is that the ET8500 is in the sitting room with an aerial cable going under the floor to the kitchen so hubby can watch his Italian channels.

Am I right in thinking that kodidirect is not a full version of kodi? And if it isn’t will I still be able to add the addon of my choice (there is particular addon that has a lot of Italian stuff).
