You had lots of issues with mounts a couple of days ago, looks like they're still not working.
Is the Duo2 actually switched on when you try to download the epg data?

You need to save your epg to your HDD or USB drive. Not internal flash. This will fill you internal flash up quickly and make your box poorly.

    Hi,
I have almost the same situation. Solo4K runs always and is responsible for EPG of 2-3 other VU STBs. The trick might be that the EPG mount to your Duo2 should be of type FSTAB as autonetwork might be to slow.

After you created your mount you must power down/restart the box at least once through the menu so that the settings are stored.

    ciao

I told you weeks ago mate I sacked this between duo2 and solo2, it was doing my head in, I spent like hours and hours and days and days, there was one occasion when I changed mount type it loaded, but I could never get it to do it again
Yesss duo2 HDD mounts perfectly on solo2 via NFS, can access recordings, use it for software update backups, it will just not populate the epg.

    Okies Update............
this is all working fine until I have a power cut which happens once a week where I live........
But I have found a work around that works for me..............
on the solo I have to delete the epg.dat file (Which removes it from my duo2) then do a save on my solo which then saves the file again back on my duo2.
After this I do a load epg on my zero and all good.......
Not the best but it works.......would be nice if there was some way of setting a automatic job of copying the epg.dat file from the duo2 and sending it to the solo usb stick and have the epg location set to that and save all the hassle.

    Hi,
do you have a NAS or Router with USB which is running all the time? If yes use this as EPG server and say to the master box it should save EPG every hour.

    Hi
I have both, I have mounted usb to nas and router, but when in epg settings it does not show either to select where to save epg.dat to.
Doesn't the usb have to be mounted by vix?
Or am I doing this totally wrong
