which image to use with Cable

Im about to buy a VU Solo SE v2 to use just for cable.

Does it matter what image i use on this to get the best performance and picture quality for Cable?

The best image is the one you deem so. It's pretty much that simple.

Sorry what I meant was is there any difference with Cable performance as to which image yiu use. I've always used Vix with Sat

If they use the same drivers and kernel then there should be no difference except for the GUI etc.

if your used to vix and like it ,just stick with it as you know your way around box already.
