    Error in software update

    As I got the notification of new available update going on "software update" menu' I get the message "there has been an error. try again later"...or post the request on OpenVIX forum.
    I notice this message since yesterday. I wonder if this is due to ongoing upgrades in the server or it might be on user side. I see some other users in the forum just update to 004 release.
    Please, what do you suggest? Thank you

    Not sure why it's failing, if you're box is connected to the internet it should pull the packages to update straight from the feeds ; they did changeover servers recently but as far as i'm aware its all completed now

    The two options you have is wait it out a day or so and try again or you could just download directly from

    would just need to put it on a usb stick and update the manual way; however this will reflash the receiver and you will need to customise your settings to your preference again and re-download any plugins you had
