    VU 4K Cable setup

I have just connected a cable from the NTL box on the wall to the reciever, did a scan for channels and get ' scanning failed' message up not a single channel
in the setup do I need to alter things I have:
Freq , Symbol rate , Modulation , Network ID , Use offical channel numbering , HD List and Enable auto cable scan
Have checked the cable and connectors outside and all ok.
I am in the Teesside area if this helps

Just double checked and no signal at all in signal finder , checked cable at both ends so guessing it's been cut outside somewhere. I will be in the garden most of the day so will be looking deeper

I see what you've done. You've put a normal RF in connector on the end of your cable cable. Didn't know you could do it this way. I have always used the cable to Rf adaptors.
