    ET8500 bootloader.. ?

    Afternoon guys..
Anyone know where i could get a bootloader for an ET8500 please.. ?
Im having a few issues with this box..
Box freezes up after 10 mins viewing.. Remote totally un-responsive.. Unplug to get it going again..
It also locks up when doing an EPG download.. Unpluag to get it going again..

    running 4.2 / 001
Also tried older images.. but nothing seems to work..
So i want to try and flash the bootloader.. to see if that makes any difference..
Ive looked on openvix.co.uk for the bootloader.. but nothing there for the ET8500.. Only ET8000 bootloader available..

    Any help greatly appreicated..

May 2016 is latest runs with 4.4.8 kernel.... choose which you prefer the simple SingleBoot or the Multiboot (gives you a choice of images OS1 or OS2) to select when you try to flash the 2nd time.

Not to not pick but you have to be 1000 percent certain when it comes to bootloaders.

flashing the wrong bootloader is pretty much the only sure fire way to permanently kill a receiver to the point where it needs to be j-tagged and even then it may be none recoverable.

Maybe the heading needs correcting then.

Ask one of the team as it has nothing to do with me any more.
