You will need to enable logs, reproduce and upload logs (zip file format) here.

Ok think i managed to resolve the restarting issue - cleared the EPG...and so far so good for it not restarting.

However another issue has manifested itself, if I am watching a channel i am recording (specifically a scrambled channel) then part the way through the program (and there doesn't appear to be any fixed time) the screen goes blank.. sometimes it comes back but with no sound, other times i get sound back but no picture. changing channel doesn't help either.. only fix i have found is if i cancel the recording, and then the channel pops back on all ok.

    Anyone else come across this

The EPG mod is not on the feeds, its on this forum as a thread.
So just to be clear do you have this mod applied?

If you don,t have the mod, lets fix current issue first and not complicate issue

Looking at the logs it's an issue that seems to be related to missing/bad EPG data, and has been reported a few times before.
Difficult (== impossible?) to reproduce when you don't have similar data to test with.
