    crossEPG freezing box

    Hello all,

I am having problems with what I think is crossEPG I have it set to update at 4:00am and when I wake up I find my box turned on and frozen with only turning the box on and off with the switch at the back as my only option.

I only have one provider set (rytec Virgin UK)

I have had a search of the forum and read about creating a page file but dosent the duo2 have enough memory not to need one?

I am running build 4.1.013 with ViX Night skin and the EPG is saved to my HDD.

Looks like you have corrupt epg data. Have you tried deleting your EPG data and running cross epg again..

I would use epgrefresh or set a recording for a couple of minutes on one of the virgin showcase channels it will be way more accurate than rytec.

I am now doing this with a zaptimer but am finding my box is still turned on in the morning.

When I have done a test run by setting a zaptimer ten minutes from the current time everything works great and the box is returned to standby but when I set a zaptimer for early in the morning the box does not go back into standby.

    Here is my current setup:

My ABM is set at 2:50am

Zap timer for 3:00am for VM Previews.

Is this a bug in Vix or am I doing something wrong?

There was an issue with zap timers. Which image are you on?
