Yes it is a external HDD.
I read through that thread, and have done the following. Without changing or swapping any cables or HDD.
Restored my backup that I created earlier to restore all settings and plugins.
Tested the EPG download, it still didn't work.
Started a recording on Tuner A.
Switched to another channel so that Tuner B was active.
Started the CrossEPG from Blue button menu as before.
Screen went blank as EPG data downloaded.
Success EPG downloaded.
I stopped the recording and deleted the EPG data and tried again and once again it downloaded fine.
I have restarted the box and have repeated again and it is working as it should.
Thanks for the help tying to resolve this random issue. At least this might help someone else who runs into this issue.
Hi folks, I've had this problem with a couple of Edison boxes since I started using the new image but I am reluctant to say it's image related. Anyway if you go Menu>Setup>System>Customise>Prefered Tuner, and set it to tuner B it works like a dream every time.
Vu solo 2, vu solo se V2, technomate tm nano 2T OE.
97cm technomate dish fixed 28.2E octo lnb, 13E twin lnb and 19.2E twin lnb.
