    Oscam Config

    Hi,

    Does anyone know where to put the Oscam Config folder on this receiver. I'm using the latest Vix build, but wherever I put the Config file - nothing happens.

    Cheers.

    Which oscam file? Server, User or conf. You need all 3 to be configured correctly.

    I think I was using the wrong ones - i'm in the process of reflashing the box as it kept crashing (i downloaded about 8 versions of OSCAM).
    I think it's just the conf file I need but knowing the correct version of OSCAM to download may help too

    cheers

    I have downloaded Oscam latest 1.2 from plugins.

    my config file looks like this:
    # oscam.conf generated automatically by Streamboard OSCAM 1.10rc-svn build #5741
    # Read more: http://streamboard.gmc.to/svn/oscam/...oscam.conf.txt

    [global]
    usrfile = /tmp/oscamuser.log
    logfile = /tmp/oscam.log
    cwlogdir = /tmp/cw
    disableuserfile = 0
    waitforcards = 0
    saveinithistory = 1

    [monitor]
    port = 988
    nocrypt = 127.0.0.1,10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255,172.16.0.0-172.31.255.255,192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255
    aulow = 120
    hideclient_to = 15
    monlevel = 4
    appendchaninfo = 1

    [dvbapi]
    enabled = 1
    boxtype = none
    user = localuser

    [webif]
    httpport = 16001
    httpuser = username
    httppwd = password
    httprefresh = 15
    httpallowed = 127.0.0.1,10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255,172.16.0.0-172.31.255.255,192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255

    Look at that config file. You have a http port set, use the IP of your box & that.

    Using the same network go to browser and type in the ip address of your receiver ie 192.168.0.1 and put :9000 after it so looks like this 192.168.0.1:9000
    Vix image (usually latest) - VU Solo 4K- WD 1TB INTERNAL HDD - DVB-T Freeview, trialling IPTV options
