Setting a box up tonight for a friend (again), we have set it up once but he has just had sly fibre installed and has a different router.
Last time the only way we could set up the Edison's Wi-Fi was to assign a static IP address in the router, using the machines mac address.
He has had sly fibre installed with a new router, and has tried himself to set this up through the network interface in vix, however it keeps failing the network test.
He has done a scan, selected his wireless network, input the encryption key, and then ran the test.
This failed and he has no connection.
Has anyone else encountered problems with the Wi-Fi set process on these box's?
I'm going round tonight so can have more detailed information if that would help.
He is running open vix 37 (the last b4 the jump to 4) box was only purchased 2 week ago from world of satellite, and flashed by them with the vix image.
