channel name changes

when the likes for example sky movies robots changes its name to say sky movies greats why do i never see the change in name as it never changes all the time over xmas my movie channels did change to reflect the xmas movies my ABM is set to scan each morning
if it helps i am using openvix on a duo2 with VM

i am correct that the name change is via ABM? or am i doing the wrong thing

ABM would update it depending on your setting, set it to update at certain time (3am) and daily. so your ABM auto updates

on my sat boxes with abm i see it changed and i think i saw on vm wrong name on channel list and when looking at it the name changed to show the current name,i dont have a working abm over here just epg refresh.

i do seea few errors on the EPG also but i am putting this down to VM it just had me thinking i was doing something wrong as sometimes i see the change and other times i dont

Names don't update well on VM, I find most reliable is to delete the channel with the old name from the Cable services and then run ABM again.

VM channels names change for me. I have to go to the channel for about 30 seconds and the name changes to the current one.

still having issues with the above suggestions i still have sky movies oscars and it should have changed to robots and then today to greats
