Hi,
I am "the guy" who made the Magic-skins for PLi.
Of course you have indeed noticed that a lot of items are PLi-specific: I warned you for that!
Pli has made a large number of inovations, many of them have been taken over by DM. As PLi is open source, that of course is a good way to work.
Is your image open source as well?
Don't hesitate to ask me if you encounter any specifics that you would like to be elaborated.
And you already found out that it will be a lot of work to adapt the skin to another image, especially as the skins are very large and support many plugins (0f course you could let them out). Was a hell of a job to make them......!
