Gigablue wireless-n usb adapter for gigablue quad plus

    Hi

i am having issues using my gigablue wireless-n adapter 300mbps.

I have plugged it in but when i go to network settings only the lan option is appearing.

I would have thought wos shop install the drivers before sending out the box.

I have latest openvix image installed on the box

any ideas what driver name is for this adapter as quite a few come up when i go into plugins > drivers?

    Thanks

    Thanks for that.

In the latest vix image the drivers for RTL8192CU are already installed but nothing is comming up when i go to network settings just LAN.

Is there a specific usb port that i have to plug the adapter into?

    Thanks

It's probably already installed. Go to plugins. Remove plugins. Drivers. See if it there

Try installing all the network usb wireless drivers from the plugins. Do it one by one and check after each one. (just the network usb drivers)

    Mine has always used RTL8192CU.

    Code:
usbcore: registered new interface driver rtl8192cu
    Product description says it's CU

Maybe the wifi adapter has changed spec???

..... so they didn't work with the CU driver?

Next time I reflash I'll see what my 2 month old adapter does.

Look at the webpage - it says - "Realtek RTL8192CU 802.11n, NEW 2016 VERSION USES RTL8192EU DRIVERS."

....it's been updated then. When I "looked at the page" 3 weeks ago it said "CU"
