OScam on solo4k

Hi Guys
Picked up my Solo4k from sponsor yesterday preloaded with vix.
down loaded oscam from plugins installed to find no files in tuxbox /Config it is empty i have also done the same on my duo2 also empty been to steamboat and tried from there but it does not put any files in the config folder anyone got a clue????

You need to create your own basic config files containing your information, after that you can log in via webif and edit till your hearts content.
Search this forum for Oscam config, the files are out there.

Thanks for that I have tried for a week on the Duo2 before i bought the solo not so easy when your not the sharpest knife in the draw, thanks anyway

Make this file up and put in etc/tuxbox/config

Where there are question marks put your own username and password.
HTTP port set to what you want I.E 8900 or whatever

Then you can log in via web using the box ip number followed by:the port number you put in your config file.

That webif won't work if using through a router connected to a modem
Change 192.168.0.255 to 192.168.1.255

Hi guys i don't have a problem connecting to my duo2 or solo4k from my mac using idreamx it brilliant for editing programs and bouquets. it's this oscam for the solo all I've read tells me i need three files in the config folder i.e server , config and user which all have to be made.

Once you have created your oscam.conf file you log in as per instructions and then create your 2 other files. Do some searching.
