    etx900 problem

    I got up this morning and on the Sattelite AV channel on my tv it said ' No Signal ' yet on the front of the box it displayed Sky Sports News. I checked the connections and everything appears to be fine so I switched it off at the back for about 10seconds and switched it back on. The grey Vix Xtreme logo appeared for a second or two as normal then on the front of the box it displayed ' Booting ' then as before Sky Sports News appeared on the display. But again on the TV it said 'NO Signal'. I then decided to switch it off at the back for about 10mins. Then switched it back on. This time the screen flashed GREEN on and off 2 or 3 times then once again started to Boot..then displayed SSN but still no signal. I then decided to re-flash the box as Ive done dozens of times but It wouldn't flash it just kept booting up as before by flashing the grey Vix Xtreme logo and then booting to SSN but no signal on the TV. Ive had some strange things happen but this one has got me beat. Has anyone got any ideas please..

    ps. Just one other thing...I have a surround sound connected and on the HDMI 11 which is what it is connected to it now also displays HDMI 11 etx900 !!!

    Can you try another HDMI lead, test on another HDMI port. Also check scart output.

    Thanks I will have a go later...I'm out and about just now. The only thing that put me off it being a HDMI/Scart lead problem was the fact that it wouldn't flash as usual via usb....very strange....hope the box isn't bricked

    A quick update...I can connect via slingbox... which doesn't connect via hdmi.....so its looking very much like an hdmi or scart problem as suggested.

    Ok further update..Ive changed the HDMI cable and it still doesn't work...however it DOES work via the Scart. Basically you see the boot logo but then nothing...Ive remotely via slingplayer changed the output from 1080 to 720 and that has made no difference.....I have just re-flashed remotely by reinstalling an earlier image and the same thing applies...

    Has anyone any further ideas please...
