    ET 8000 Remote not working

I have 2 Xtrend ET8000's, 1 in our lounge and 1 in our bedroom but the remote for one the one in the bedroom only works if it is practically touching the tuner. I have changed the batteries in the remote and tried the other remote and this is the same. Is there a setting on the tuner that I can check / change or do you think there is a fault with the tuner?

You may have placed something in the room that the sensor doesn't like, some plasma TVs can also affect ir transmission.

It turned out to be the new JVC LED smart TV that we just bought in the sales, the tuner was located too close to it so I have re-positioned it and everything is now working again just as it should be .
