    no sky channels

so it started with severe glitches, tune failed, no service etc. (see previous thread re:tune failed) was asked to check dish alignment and signal strength. had this checked yesterday and both alignment and signal strengths are ok. automatic scan carried out and although all channels are showing on channel list no sky channels are available. have checked with server and there's no issue with them. help please

And thats where it pretty much ends, as per site rules you wont get any further help especially in stealing access to pay tv channels.
My posts contain my own personal thoughts and opinions, they do not represent those of any organisation or group but my own.

If you don't like what I post, Don't read it.

    SIMPLES.

wow i'm a bit taken aback by the responses. yes i made the mistake of mentioning the "s" word but it was a genuine mistake but a total novice trying to get to grips with this very complicated world of satellite. what i find difficult to take is being accused of stealing access to pay per view channels. if i was the only here doing this then i should be properly spanked. but somehow i don't feel that is the case. if the mistake is for mentioning the "s" word then by all means say so. if you don't feel you want to help that's ok too.i just don't feel there is any need for that sort of response.

anyway i just wanted to end by saying i have resolved the problem with some assistance from a more civilised and gentler site. i apologise if i've offended anyone by mentioning the "s" word but the nature of the response i got was quite unnecessary especially with so much hate in the world today already. goodnight all. stay safe and happy

I will agree (and it bugs me) that many on here are downright rude - there is a world of difference between saying 'Sorry, we can't provide any advice on this matter' to 'You won't get any help here, clear off!'
I know that cardsharing talk is not allowed but where's the harm in being polite??

    Good morning guys..
OK.. I feel i have to jump in here on this one..

Please have a look at it from our point of view..
We get the same questions day in and day out..
And sometimes we do get fed up answering the same things all the time..

    Please also remember..

When you join this forum.. The 1st thing you are asked to do is read the rules..
We get dozens of posts every week where we have to redirect the users to re-read the rules..
It does get very tidius answering these same sometimes..

Also.. We all have our own jobs.. and dedicate our time free of charge.. and no-one gets paids for this..
We are just like you guys.. We can have off days too..

Word it how you like. There are plenty of sites out there that will help you with illegal TV viewing, google is your friend.
This site isn't one of them.

Read the site rules you agreed to, respect them, we can all get along & help each other.

I can totally see your point too and i had no intention of upsetting anyone or starting a war. My point was that courtesy costs nothing and probably fewer keystrokes into the bargain!!

Said my bit now, i'm off to bed!

No problem. Courtesy goes out the window though when site rules are ignored & similar questions are asked over & over again.
    Expect some annoyed answers...
