    Xtrend or Mutant

    i am thinking of getting a ET8000 twin or triple, i have a vu solo 2 what you guys reckon is the 8000 better or has any one tried the Mutant 2400,i have been looking through forums for a few days and " me heads battered"

    your view appreciated

    Never had an xtrend,[ but i hear they are a solid box ] but ive got a mut@nt, and good box, but a poor remote......
    What else can i say !!.....

    The Et8000 is a good but boringly solid box that performs as per the specs.... Excellent remote...... But no transcoding

    Well for some reason i'm leaning towards the xtrend-not sure why,but after many years with the VU range fancy a change
    cheers gang.
    ill probably be back soon asking how to configure \ set it up

    I debated which box to get and after years of clone boxes and others i just wanted a sold working box with the ability to use cable and sat tuners.

    It has been called "boring" but it's far from it. Does what it is supposed to do. No crashing or any problems at all. Everything just works.

    Agree ET8000 100% rock solid for me running 3 tuners + dvbt usb tuner without any problems
