    changing hdd

Evening, I wonder if someone could help, I have purchased 4 extrend et8000 box's now, for my self and family members, and as I am mainly removing unused sky box's I have transferred the hdd's.

However, just to throw a spanner in the works my sister has no sky box, and therefore no HDD, now I have a spare 2tb drive I now wish to put in MY reciver, and give her the 500gb form my reciver.

My question is, When I swap my HDD's over what will I loose? I am currently downloading all the files from my media folder, (recordings) but what else May be affected, plugins. future recordings, settings, etc?

    Cheers

Only recordings and EPG data (if that is what you selection is) are stored on the HDD.

All your settings and plugins are on teh receiver's internal flash memory.
