    red light

    Hi, I have a Mut@nt HD2400

    Great box and all working OK I think

    Sometimes there is a red light around the power button (whilst the box is switched on)
    it doesn't indicate I am recording so what does it mean as it isnt always on

    It's the recording light , you must be recording something
    Mutant HD2400 , 2 x DVB-S/S2, 2x DVB-T/T2/C ,OpenVix version 5.1.0028 , Simple Ten Eighty skin , and Tosh picons , remote Harmony 650, Amazon firestick

    no im not recording in timeshift or a programme
    in fact when i am recording i get 'rec' flashing on the front panel
    at the moment i have no rec flashing but i do have a red light around the power
