    Chromecast on Mut@nt HD2400

    Hi.

Does anyone here on the forum have experience running Chromecast on a Mut@nt HD 2400 receiver.
I have been looking at many different forms, unfortunately I have not been able to find anything about this topic.
Hope some of you guys in here can help me.

    Thx.

What is it your are trying to do with the Chromecast?
I don't have a Mut@nt 2400 but I guess the HDMI in is just a pass-through option? so maybe when the box it off, if you had the Chromecast plugged in to HDMI-in is would appear on your TV..
Hopefully someone else will help, not really sure why I replied to this

I ask because I need a new satellite receiver.
I am considering buying the Mutant HD 2400 box
I was hoping that someone here on the forum had experience with this box.
I do not want to buy this box if Chromecast is not working

I think you would need something in-between the Chromecast and receiver to strip out HDCP if you intend to cast DRM stuff, at least that's what I had to do when I connected a Roku3 to my Mutant.
